Quick Start Guide

1. Set your tracking preferences

For advanced settings and custom fields, visit the Tracking Preferences page.

2. Create a Deck

This isn’t intended to be where you enter your full card list. Here you’re creating a deck object that holds its metadata (name, format, image, color identity), not the cards themselves.
  1. Assign basic details about your deck: format, name, background image, and color identity.
  2. The form adapts based on your choice:
    1. Selecting Draft/Sealed will prompt you for the draft set you played.
    2. Selecting Commander/Brawl will add an input field for your commander.
Note: For Commander, Duel Commander, or Brawl decks, you can skip setting the deck name, image, and color identity—these will be auto-generated from the commander(s) you entered.

3. Add a Win Condition

What do we mean by Win Condition?
A win condition is the way a game ends—whether you steamroll your opponent with combat damage, pull off a combo finish, mill them out, or any other method. When you log a match, you pick the win condition for the winner, whether it was you or your opponent. Behind the scenes, we aggregate this data into charts that show which win conditions you rely on most and which ones trip you up most often.
Here are some win conditions we’ve seeded for you.
  • Aggro
  • Tempo
  • Control
  • Combat
  • Mill
  • Mana Flood
  • Infect / Poison
  • Commander Damage
On the Win Conditions page, you can edit or delete any of these.

4. Create an Event

What are "Events"?
An Event represents a gaming session or tournament that groups one or more matches under a single name (for example, “Friday Night Draft” or “Local Weekly League”). Use Events to organize your games by date, format, or context and then analyze your performance within each group.
On the Events page, you can edit, delete, or review all matches in any event.
